Setup information for your IMAP mailbox
Please select the application / device from the list below and follow the instructions on how to set it up on your device.
If your application / device is not listed, please contact us.
If you have any issues setting up the emails, please call us on 02476 997321 and if required we can remote into your computer and set it all up for you for a nominal charge.
Follow these steps to get setup
Settings for Outlook
Step 1: Go to Tools -> Accounts (If asked select to setup account manually)
Step 2:Now type in your name and email address
Step 3:In account type select IMAP
Step 4:Set Incoming mail server as your domain name
Step 5:Set Outgoing mail server as your domain name
Step 6:For Username and password, please contact us and we will advise you the right one for your account
Step 7:Click on “More Settings” and make sure you have ticked “My outgoing server requires authentication” and select “Use same settings as my incoming server”
Step 8:Save all the settings and you should start to see your emails coming in.
Setting up on an Apple iPhone or iPad
To setup email on your Apple iPhone / iPad device please go to the Home Screen.
Now find Settings then Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then click on Add Account
Now select Other as the account type
Now select Add Mail Account
Now it will ask for the following information:
Name – Your Name on how you would like people to see it
Email – Your Email Address
Password – Your Password
Description – How you want to identify the specific email account, for example “work”, or “home email”
Now select Next
Now select IMAP and then add the following information:
Incoming Mail Server
Host Name – Please enter your Incoming Mail Server which is your domain name without the www
For Username and password, please contact us and we will advise you the right one for your account.
Outgoing Mail Server Host Name
Host Name – Please enter your Outgoing Mail Server which is your domain name without the www
The username and password are the same as the information given to you as above
Now click on Next
Please note: The iPhone should detect the Port Settings.
Outgoing Settings Use SSL: off Authentication: Password Server Port: Leave as default setting
To complete the setup process – click SAVE and wait for the iPhone to test your incoming and outgoing mail settings and connect to your mailbox. You may get some questions regarding the connection and certificates, select continue.
